Mohammed bin Saeed discussed bilateral relations and achievements of Yemen’s security and stability with the chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Committee.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Saeed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, discussed with Dr. Rashid Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Steering Committee of the Yemeni Brotherhood, that various aspects of the relationship between the two brotherly countries and many regional and international issues are of common interest.

During a meeting in Qasr al-Bahr today, the President and Chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council exchanged greetings on the eve of Eid al-Fitr. The two countries are their brother peoples.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Saeed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Commander of the Armed Forces, congratulated Dr. Rashid Al-Alimi on assuming leadership of Yemen and wished him success in his service. The country and its people will move towards stability and peace, overcoming the difficult situations they are going through.

During the meeting, the Yemeni President reaffirmed the support of the United Arab Emirates to the Leadership Council and the support of the United Arab Emirates in fulfilling its national responsibilities for the stability and security of brother Yemen and achieving the aspirations for the development and advancement of its people.

His Highness underscored the strong brotherly and historical ties that unite the two brotherly countries and said that the UAE would make no effort to provide all possible support to brotherly Yemen at all levels.

For his part, he expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Sheikh Mohammed bin Saeed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Committee, for the warm welcome and continued support of the UAE to the Yemeni people in various fields.
