Saqr Ghobash, speaker of Morocco’s House of Representatives discusses bilateral relations

Saqr Ghobash, President of the Federal National Council (CNF), met Rachid Talbi Alami, President of the Moroccan House of Representatives, on the sidelines of the 11th Association of Senates, Shoora and Equivalent Councils in Africa and the Arab World Conference, held in the Moroccan capital, Rabat.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen their bilateral cooperation and coordination on issues of common concern and stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral parliamentary relations between the two friendly countries.

Ghobash underscored the deep-rooted relations between the UAE and Morocco, noting that the two countries share similar views and positions in many regional and international events, and hailed Morocco’s experiences and achievements in many many areas.

Alami welcomed Ghobash and the FNC delegation and appreciated their visit, which will help strengthen relations between the two parliaments.

He also highlighted the historical and cultural ties between Morocco and the UAE, affirming Morocco’s support for the UAE and all actions it deems necessary to protect its land and people.
