Saudi envoy to Amman discusses bilateral ties with senior Jordanian officials

Abdullah Al-Suwaian has been the media director of Ehsan, a local charity platform developed by the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence, since January.

Al-Suwaian created the media directorate and developed Ehsan’s communication strategies. He planned and executed over 10 campaigns and oversaw the production of editorial content and dozens of videos.

He was previously director of media and strategic communications for the Saudi Yemen Development and Reconstruction Program from September 2018 to November 2020.

While at SDRPY, he was responsible for implementing strategic communications processes and campaigns, and managing departments such as media relations, editorial content, marketing, social media, creative and production, communication for development and translation.

In addition to crisis management and image enhancement, Al-Suwaian provided consultations to the Saudi Ambassador to Yemen, Mohammed Al-Jaber, and served as the official SDRPY representative in the international and local committees and delegations.

He was Communications Manager from October 2017 to June 2018 at Eye of Riyadh, an e-marketing platform providing professional services and strategies for marketing events and campaigns.

He was the company’s spokesperson and launched more than 15 public relations marketing campaigns, managed external communications, and led visual and written content.

From April 2015 to October 2016, Al-Suwaian worked as a producer and chief operating officer at Telfaz11, where he was responsible for content quality assurance, program programming, and marketing, production, and resource projects. human.

He was Head of Content at the Department of Commerce in September 2014 and managed all publishing materials for print and social media, including visual content for outreach purposes and creative digital marketing campaigns.

He worked as a producer and content manager at MBC for Dawood Al-Sharyan’s TV show “Al-Thamena” from September 2013 to August 2014.

Al-Suwaian holds a master’s degree in media management from Marywood University, Pennsylvania, and a bachelor’s degree in mass media communication from King Saud University in Riyadh.
