His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates, received on Monday Naftali Bennett, Prime Minister of Israel, who is currently visiting the United Arab Emirates.

At the start of the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed welcomed Bennett, expressing his hope that the visit of the Prime Minister of Israel, which is the first visit to the country, would help to strengthen cooperation for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries and of the peoples of the Region.

Sheikh Mohamed and the Israeli Prime Minister reviewed bilateral cooperation and ways to further develop it in various areas of investment, economic, trade and development, in particular agriculture, food security, renewable energies, advanced technologies, health and other vital sectors under the Abrahamic Accord Peace Accord that the two countries signed last year.

The meeting also discussed the importance of Expo 2020 Dubai, especially for countries in the Middle East to take advantage of opportunities and the latest sustainable development solutions and innovations offered by participating countries.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed stressed that UAE’s foreign relations are based on firm principles of mutual respect, cooperation and upholding the values ​​of coexistence and peace, noting that it is the best way to realize the aspirations of the people, expressing the hope that stability will prevail in the Middle East.

He said the Middle East is a land of peace and a cradle of heavenly religions that shine around the world with the call of kindness and love.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the two sides stressed the concern to strengthen bilateral cooperation and joint action with the aim of strengthening mutual interests and contributing to the consolidation of stability, security and development in the region. . They also highlighted the importance of expanding qualitative partnerships in the areas of investment and economics that serve sustainable development priorities in the two countries and in the wider region.
